Thanks to the wonderful Elizabeth Mueller for this fabulous award. She rocks. You should go check out her blog.
Now, seven things about myself and seven awardees.
1. I have always lived in the windiest cities in the world. Why? Maybe fate dislikes me. I don't know.
2. I love being a mom, even when three of them are teenagers.
3. I miss teaching, but love being at home so I can write!
4. Horses petrify me, yet they're one of my favorite animals. My life is full of oxymorons.
5. I have the best bloggie friends, EVER!
6. My stack of books to read literally touches the ceiling. (If I stacked all of them.)
7. I never leave the house without a book and a notebook with pen.
The seven beautiful bloggers I chose because I really enjoy reading their blogs and they are all really cool people are:
Book Dreaming
Writer's Ally
Checkerboard Squares
Dreams of Quill and Ink
My Life in a Laptop
Pink Ink
My Poetry and Prose Place
Congratulations all and have a wonderful day!
Awww, you are so sweet Shari. And you are a truly beautiful blogger. I always love it when your avatar pops up in my comments box. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteThank you!! :-)
Thanks Shari, you're the best! And congrats on your award.
ReplyDeleteI see I didn't make your list of "beautiful bloggers". Obviously you either made a mistake or you think I need to wear a paper bag over my head in public.
ReplyDeleteEither way, I choose not to be offended. I'm humble like that.
Thanks Shari! Hey, I used to be scared to death of horses, too. You ever feel up to it and we can go riding. We'll put you on a sweet one. Then you can see they're really just big babies :-).
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Shari! *giant hugs* You're the best!
ReplyDeleteI love windy places unless I'm driving. Maybe I'd love it less if there was a lot of sand though. Hmmm.
*hugs* Wow, your FAST! Luv ya, girl! <3
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award and congrats to the other winners. You are a beautiful blogger.
ReplyDeleteBless your heart for having three teenagers--I've got two and thought I was swamped :)
ReplyDeleteHi Shari, I'm in your writing crusade group - and my name's Sari ;).
ReplyDeleteWhat a good way to get to know you :).
Congrats on the award! You deserve it. :)
ReplyDeleteShari, thanks so much for the award! You really are a beautiful blogger. You totally deserve this awesome award!
ReplyDeleteHiya!
ReplyDeleteJust sending a big hello from CANADA - Im Wanita, another crusader! Joined your tweets, too!
Happy day!
I think horses are very intimidating. Beautiful, but intimidating. I also always have a notebook and pen with me.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, fellow crusader!
Hi Fellow crusader. Just found out I'm in your group. Looking forward to getting to know you better! :)

Hey there fellow crusader. Congrats on the award.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award. Elizabeth is awesome! I like the facts about yourself...and I'm jealous that you are close enough to go to the LDS storymakers conference. I thought about coming down, but it's not going to work out. Bummer. Thanks for coming over to my blog!
ReplyDeletecongrats on your bloggy award.
ReplyDeleteWaves to a fellow crusader :)

I'm a fellow crusader. We're in the same group. Nice to meet you!
Congrats on the award. Here in North Devon it's pretty windy too. Sometimes I don't know how the roof stays on!
ReplyDeleteGood to meet you, fellow crusader.
Hi Shari! Thanks for stopping by my blog. It sounds like you and I have a lot in common, Vernal, IT hubbies, busy kids. Plus, I'm an SL native. I'll look forward to reading more of your posts!
ReplyDeleteThese lists are fun--interesting little tidbits about you. If you love horses, you should take Jewel up on her offer. There's nothing like galloping through a field on a beautiful animal.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award, Shari.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to meet you, too. Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday. I gave you an official welcome on today's blog, so please drop by if you have time.
Michael
Stopping by to introduce myself as a new follower and fellow crusader. Did you find out what group you're in yet?
ReplyDeleteHi fellow crusader I am a new follower. So what windy cities do you live in/have lived in? I feel like I hit all the windy ones too - originally from Buffalo NY (lake effect winds) and now in Wyoming (Wyoming is just an indian word for wind). (not really, but most people buy that story). I love the way you put your life is full of oxymorons! Makes me want to hear more.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award, and thanks for visiting my blog and following, fellow crusader!! Nice to meet you. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award! I'm glad I finally got to meet you and your blog.
ReplyDelete:)
Welcome to the crusade and congrats on the sweet award. I love your 7 things and can relate to all of them.
ReplyDeleteMy new blogging friends have been wonderful.
Hey fellow crusader! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm so happy to meet someone else from Utah! I'm excited to get to know you better. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful award!! Thank you, Shari. This is so sweet of you. Looking forward to blogging with you as we move forward with our goals. Following you, now.
ReplyDeleteWow, we're so alike! All of your answers go for me as well, except I don't live in particularly windy cities (except the year I lived in Chicago), only two of my kids are teenagers, and I'm afraid of horses but they are NOT one of my favorite animals. Oh, and I don't bring a book with me when I leave the house unless I know I'm going to be waiting for a while - too lazy to carry it around. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to meet you, fellow crusader!
Hello fellow crusader! What fun information. My oldest is 14, so we're heading in to those years.
ReplyDeleteI live in horse country, and I think they're gorgeous creatures. But I would be too scared (and lazy) to own one.
I'll trade my ceiling stack of books for yours! Now there's a blogfest - we should all take photos of our piles of books...
ReplyDeletemaking crusader rounds. Nice to meet you, now following!
ReplyDeleteNikki
Congratulations on your award. I'm with you on #7.
ReplyDeleteHappy Writing!
congrats on the award - I'm a fellow crusader and new follower.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on not leaving home without pad, pen and book. I'm a fellow crusader who's following you now.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award! And I know what you mean about that stack of books.. I have one too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful award - I just stumbled across your blog and am so glad:) new follower!
ReplyDeleteHey Shari! Just wanted to stop by again to let you know that I gave you an award on my blog today! Come on over and get it :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and you won a critique in my drawing!
Yay!
Wow this is a cool award! I totally agree with number seven. It doesn't matter if I'm late--I go back to get my book. And for number 6, giant stacks of books are amazing. I'd rather have too many books to read than not enough! :D
