I’m Very Dizzy and Not the Blond Kind

My life is spinning, spinning, spinning.

I kind of want to climb in a hole and hibernate for six months.

Except I can't, 'cause I have too much to do.

Do you ever feel like there is so much going on that you can't possibly keep up and the ends of your nerves are splitting and if one more thing gets added to the mix you'll explode?

Me too!

Okay. Now that I got that off my chest, I'm off to the gym. As long as I don't fall over from all the spinning.

  1. Hang in there, Shari. The merry-go-round will run out of spin eventually. :-)

  3. Oh, yes, I've been on that Tilter-whirl before. It will pass. Take a deep breath and one thing at a time. You know; it's okay to take a bit of time for yourself, too.

  4. Do you go to Gold's Gym? I've thought about doing their zumba classes. Thanks so much again for stopping by last week and bringing me my goodie!! Love ya lots!

  5. That's terrible. I hope you feel better soon. I've had the actual inner-ear problem spinning after flying. Your kind sounds worse...situational dizziness is tough.

  6. Um, yep. Pretty much a LOT. But not right now. Right now, I'm feeling good. Maybe when you go to the gym, you should go to a SPINNING class! Hahahaha :D

  7. I totally feel you Shari. And this makes me feel less guilty for the extremely SLOW pace I've been writing my novel lately. :)

Hope you find some time to relax.

  8. Oh man, I get the dizzy feeling all. the. time. That's when I take a step back and only do the necessary until I catch up. I hate to do it, but it needs to be done every once in a while :) Good luck with everything and way to be for getting out to the gym!

  9. I've definitely felt that way. Just know that sometimes things get missed or overlooked and that's okay. I picked my kid up 20 minutes late from track the other day because I was running errands and forgot she had an extra practice on a particular Tuesday. I felt horrible about it when I got her angry/confused message. It was about the fifth extra thing I had going on that day, and I was ready to tear my hair out/cry/run away to Tahiti. It turned out to be less than the end of the world, though. Hang in there, sweetie!

  11. Yes, I know exactly how you feel! Just hang in there, is all I can say (and don't fall over from all the spinning!).

  13. Yes! I just started a class and a new side business. I'm OVERWHELMED. LOL I just hope it all pays off with a contract. :) I'm keeping my eye on the prize. (I know, cliche)

  14. I feel like that everyday!! There is never enough time. Ah, the writer's life. You'd think it'd be a relaxing career/hobby. With all the platform building and promoting, it's downright exhausting. And that's not even writing or editing or reading. Much less the dayjob and family.

  15. Oh, I think I'm still dizzy from all the spinning. I hope things settle down soon and you have a breather!

  17. Exercise is a good way to centre yourself. In addition to editing a novel, I got the final proof for my book last night, so now I'm in sort of a tailspin all over again.

  18. Me not feel like there's too much on my plate? I only wish ... yes, I feel that way most of the time. But I catch a break once in a while. Hugs, and exercise is a great stress-buster. I really want and need to go jog four miles after work today. The weather looks good. We're on Daylight Savings ... I think I can do it.

  22. So with you. Life's gone crazy. For the last couple of weeks, I've been thinking Easter is this weekend. My preschooler's teacher straightened me out on this today. Boy is son gonna be disappointed when I tell him the bunny isn't coming for 3 more weeks. Spinning...spinning...:)
